The buffer feature allows clients with API integration to retain SMS messages in InvisibleLink for a period of 1 to 48 hours, even if they attempt to send messages without sufficient balance. This feature can be activated in the settings menu.
As soon as there is available balance, the buffered SMS will be processed and will take priority over new messages. They are sent on a FIFO (first in, first out) basis — from the oldest to the most recent.
Messages that can be sent with the available balance will be delivered, while the remaining ones will stay stored until their validity expires or until another top-up is made.
This feature is optional, and you can disable it at any time from the settings menu.
